Yellow roses symbolize friendship and return. These are yellow roses of Zante which is near Corfu, the island from the song "Yellow Roses of Corfu", by Nana Mouskouri. The little rose seems too small for the big bouquet of roses, but it is made of pewter and very sturdy.
