As a young artist, Dr. Tsoukas was influenced by the impressionist movement, more particularly, after spending time in Paris and studying the works of Monet and Sisley. In this self portrait, drawn using vertical lines and contrasting colours, we notice his eyes, in particular. Eyes are the window to our soul and in this case, show introspection.
