Tatossian's lifetime friend, confidant and painting partner, was Dr. George Tsoukas. Not only did they share a studio in Montreal, they would also invariably travel together. Armand loved to paint in Greece months at a time, often using his best friends summer residence. This pastel, done at the crack of dawn, captures the colour,atmosphere, vivacity and mood of this picturesque small fishing village, in the island of Kythira.
