Tatossian was enthralled with Greece and especially with two islands Myconos and Santorini. Apart from the pastel like colours and the clear penetrating light, here, the architecture was phenomenal. Geometric shapes of homes and streets, stuck between tall mountains arising from the sea, was a challenging objective to Armand, drawing in soft pastel. He often considered Santorini to be the umbilicus of the earth.
