Corn is a  mundane and rarely painted object. In this work however, corn was not only painted, it was given outright complexity. There is little foreground or background. The axes supporting the corn are broken and, the laws of gravity and stability have been violated on purpose, but without impairing the coherence, solidifying this outstanding and masterful work of art.
