This very large painting shows one side of a surrounding neighbourhood.Seen from the road it is surrounded by lovely trees that act as sentinels. There is a unique play of shadows and we see tire tracks on the snow. Both create straight lines leading in different directions creating a geometric pattern. They seem slightly stylized to make a point of nature’s harmonious geometry. M.G.
