During a painting out of doors, break, the artist found himself sitting under the shade of a large vine tree. The geometric surroundings of the building, the shadow shapes and the effects of the translucent light were enchanting. Now, everything in his world had to stop. It took an hour until the new sketch was completed. Only then, could he return back to doing what he had originally started to do, and fill the original canvas.
