This work was executed on a bright spring day in the laurentian forest. Painting snow in plein air can be plagued with monotony and austerity. As a remedy and to get away from the cold Dr. Tsoukas increases the use of rhythm spontaneity and colour contrast. The end result is a feeling of clarity, movement and lyricism as the onlooker relishes in the spectacle and the grandeur of melting spring snow.
