One could easily mistaken this work for a late era Van Gogh. The careful sketch and treatment of the flower petals, the artist’s use of high quality materials, and the intensity of colour composition is a hallmark of a seasoned painter. What attracts the eye most however, in this picture, are the harmonious tones, the symmetrical winding forms, and the accentuated edges. A masterful drawing and a painting delight.
