True to himself, Georges Rhyn could not, but devote every minute of the day to his favourite subject ,plain air painting. This view of the lake of two mountains was his favourite. He painted it in all weather conditions of the four seasons. This work is a play of two opposing colours, yellow and blue. As we peek through the warm yellow tree branches, our focus becomes the promontory, but soon enough, we become mesmerized and, end up looking into the deep horizon.
